She emphasized that Tamaulipas ranks first in regularized automobiles with 937,387,500 pesos collected and 374,955 units.
This state, along with Chihuahua and Baja California, accounts for 50.8% of the total number of vehicles regularized nationwide.

"It's important to mention that the vehicles being regularized are from 2017 or earlier, models predating 2017. They are not new vehicles, but have been in the country for over five years, and indeed those entering after that time have to pay different customs duties. The regularization fee for each vehicle is 2,500 pesos for those who still wish to do so," Rodríguez Velázquez stated.
It's worth noting that the program benefits 17 states of the Mexican Republic: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila de Zaragoza, Durango, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán de Ocampo, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, and Zacatecas.
