According to various media reports and social media videos, the group, led by their vocalist Mario Quintero, charges 3.5 million pesos for a private concert. This figure has piqued the curiosity of many internet users, as it was the reason for the dismissal of a public official who recently hired them to play at his daughter's quinceañera.
Besides performing for their fans and charging for concert tickets, Los Tucanes de Tijuana are also available through their official contacts. So, anyone wanting to have them at their party will have to pay 3.5 million pesos.

The name of the regional Mexican group was embroiled in controversy when an official in Quintana Roo paid the famous artists to perform at a private party. The curious part was that his salary did not align with the earnings required to hire the band, leading to an investigation and his subsequent removal from his position as Director of the Investigative Police of that state.

Los Tucanes de Tijuana began their career in 1987. The group was initially composed of Mario Quintero, Joel Higuera, Mario Moreno, Clemente Flores, and David Servin, although the lineup is different now. The band continues to delight people with their most popular songs and is the only regional Mexican music group to have placed six titles simultaneously on Billboard's Top Latin Albums, along with boasting other successes and remaining at the top.
