"We will advance with the fourth transformation initiated in 2018 by President López Obrador, which means continuing to build a free Mexico, a Mexico of well-being, of rights, a government that does not repress," she stated.

From the podium of the Superior Chamber, Sheinbaum urged the magistrates to respect the people's will in the allocation of deputies and senators in the Congress of the Union.

"The electoral norm is clear in allocating majority and proportional representation legislators. I am convinced that the heads of the judiciary in electoral matters are deeply knowledgeable on this topic because they have acted accordingly in past elections, and they will know how to respect the Constitution, the laws, and the will of the people," she said.

For her part, TEPJF President Magistrate Mónica Soto acknowledged that she removed the veil of patriarchy with Sheinbaum's ascension to the Executive Branch. Soto even remarked that the citizens of Mexico have shattered the glass ceiling with the election of the first female President after 65 men have led the federal executive branch.

Soto Fregoso added that nothing diminishes the fact that Mexico now has its first female President, with 35.9 million votes from citizens, following an electoral process filled with challenges and demanding tasks and workdays.
