HERA, the Festival of Female Talent
Produced by Ximena Sariñana, the event aims to challenge gender stereotypes and promote inclusion.
Ximena Sariñana is convinced that the women's rights movement has been closely linked to music. Thus, HERA, a festival produced by the artist, will be a stage for women to raise their voices and be heard, a space to challenge gender stereotypes and promote inclusion.

“From my experience as an actress, singer, and now festival producer, I do see a narrative of female empowerment. In general, in all the projects I have recently been involved in, there is the notion of wanting to elevate women's participation,” said the composer in an interview with El Heraldo de México.
Sariñana, who has excelled in music and acting, has now taken on the challenge of being the producer of the HERA festival, which will be held on August 24 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
The performer of “Cobarde” and “Si tú te vas” assures that music is a combination of rhythms and genres, so in its first edition, HERA will be a showcase of the plurality of female talent.

Ximena Sariñana acknowledges that without the arts, she simply “would not exist.” The arts and music have nurtured her soul since her childhood in Guadalajara. Her proposal with the festival is to showcase diverse realities and different ways of observing the world, all while being united by music.

“Art is an experience and a one hundred percent human form of expression that requires a point of view; this is very important for art. For me, it is very important to elevate women's participation because historically, we are still not on par with the experience and history that the world and men have had. It is very important for me to bring us up to par, but never to block or compete. That is not how we can achieve gender equality that is worthwhile,” she added.
Ximena assured that it was necessary to have this type of event in our country, which has not been easy, but she is convinced that the musical encounter stems from the need to advance gender equality. “We want to celebrate the female industry, women who are in charge of their projects and know how to lead them well.”
Although this is the first edition of this event, the actress is confident that it can be repeated every year, as is already the case with several festivals such as Corona Capital, Vive Latino, or Tecate Emblema. “We have put all our effort into it because it has been a great endeavor, and we hope the public will like it,” she confirmed.
The singer shares the lineup with: Camila Cabello, Danna Paola, Demi Lovato, Ely Guerra, Daniela Spalla, and Evanescence, among others.
