During the ceremony, Coppola remarked, “Adam Driver is brilliant and talented. I found that the film collaborated with all the actors and the cinematographer I knew. But generally, when you don’t know how to make a movie, you must listen, and the story will tell you how.”

He also shared that in 2019, when he turned 80, he decided Megalopolis, which had undergone over 300 rewrites, would be his next project. To fund the $120 million budget, Coppola sold his Napa vineyards.
