This week, the issue of Mexican citizens voting from abroad took a different turn regarding the 39,724 records deemed improper just a few days ago. The National Surveillance Commission, composed of representatives from the country's seven political parties, recommended reinstating 20,964 records in the Electoral Roll of Residents Abroad.

  • Lack of copy of the front or back of the Voter ID: 75
  • Combination of inconsistencies in the Voter ID or proof of address: 9,859
  • Proof of address with inconsistency: 458
