High-Level Dialogue with the U.S. Business Sector Aims to Provide Certainty
President Claudia Sheinbaum and Secretary of Economy Marcelo Ebrard meet with 240 CEOs from various companies

With the presence of 240 executives from U.S. companies across different sectors, the Mexican government, through the Ministry of Economy, will hold a high-level dialogue aimed at providing certainty to investors and strengthening bilateral economic relations.

During the morning press conference La Mañanera del Pueblo, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, stated that the goal is to encourage investment under a development and certainty plan, and during the meeting, all questions from the business sector will be addressed.
“It is important for them to know that the Judicial Reform strengthens the rule of law, and that their investments are secure, and for them to hear this from us.”
For his part, Secretary of Economy Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón expressed optimism for good investment news following the dialogue, which will address topics such as investment, border trade facilitation, energy and climate change, services, and trade policy.
Another key topic, he said, is how to work together as a region to strengthen ahead of the upcoming review process of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)

“Today marks the starting point for working together… to strengthen the agreement we have with Canada,” he emphasized, highlighting the importance of teamwork.
Ebrard Casaubón noted that business leaders highly value the fact that this meeting is taking place so soon after Claudia Sheinbaum’s administration begins, indicating that this is a priority issue.
