The nearly month-long break in the Formula 3 calendar will serve Mexican driver Noel León (sponsored by Heraldo Media Group) to fine-tune details and correct errors with his team, Van Amersfoort, ahead of the next race on June 23rd in Barcelona.

"We need to improve the rear of the car, which has been unstable, and the car's traction hasn't been good either. We need to update and improve the telemetry to be more competitive in qualifying and be better in the second part of the season," said the 19-year-old.
At the midway point of the F3 season, Noel evaluates his performances:

"It has certainly been a bit difficult; we started with some problems with the car in Bahrain; it's been a tough start to the season, but we've turned the page with a podium and points in the last two races."

León also mentioned which races might be challenging for him and which ones might not in the second part of the calendar. "I think Hungary and Silverstone (England) will be the toughest ones; last year the team did very well in Barcelona, Spa (Belgium), and Monza, so we can gain advantages there," added the Mexican.
