The Plan’s key pillars:
- Addressing root causes, focusing on supporting the most vulnerable families.
- Strengthening the National Guard by enhancing its operational capacities.
- Boosting intelligence and investigation efforts to prevent crimes.
- Coordinating between the security cabinet and state authorities.
In response to the survey results, President Claudia Sheinbaum expressed her gratitude for the public’s support during a morning press conference. She assured that “results will come gradually with this strategy, as long as we have a judiciary that doesn’t grant protection to criminals. The judiciary also bears responsibility for the country’s pacification,” she emphasized.
