López Obrador expressed satisfaction with his presidency, citing support for millions of Mexicans, reductions in poverty and inequality, and an average economic growth of 1% despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The President also highlighted the introduction of 20 constitutional reforms aimed at restoring the original spirit of the Constitution, countering the changes made during the "neoliberal period." Among these reforms, he specifically defended the judicial reform and conducted a show of hands among over 25,000 attendees, who supported electing judges by popular vote.
He emphasized the fight against corruption and impunity while respecting the autonomy of government branches. During the consultation, he asked the crowd, "Do you prefer that ministers be appointed by the president and senators or elected by the people?" The unanimous response was "the people," with hands raised in agreement.

López Obrador noted that this exercise "helps to understand the sentiment of the people and also for our friends and neighbors in the United States to internalize it." On health, he claimed that the system is "now the most effective in the world. I said it would be the best, like Denmark. No, it’s not like Denmark. It’s better than Denmark." He also praised Rosa Icela Rodríguez, Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, for her efforts to combat corruption in ISSSTE.

Addressing security, the President pointed out that, according to INEGI, the current perception is the least negative recorded in the past decade. He rejected claims of a narco-state and argued that insecurity cannot be resolved simply by arresting drug lords.
Additionally, López Obrador highlighted that his administration has saved 2 trillion pesos through anti-corruption measures and reported a significant reduction in corruption within the Executive Branch. He also noted that poverty has decreased during his term and that all senior citizens receive a pension.
"From 2018 to 2022, according to INEGI, 5.1 million people emerged from poverty, representing 5.6 percent—a development not seen in over 30 years," he said. Emotional, the President expressed satisfaction with ending his term with a clear conscience and praised his successor, Claudia Sheinbaum, as an exceptional leader.
He celebrated Sheinbaum's victory, with Sheinbaum, seated among the special guests, smiling and expressing gratitude. López Obrador assured that Sheinbaum would continue ongoing projects and address any remaining issues from his administration.
