Cada año, cientos de inmigrantes solicitan la ciudadanía de Estados Unidos por medio de un riguroso trámite que consta de varios pasos, uno de ellos y posiblemente el más difícil es el examen de educación cívica, el cual es en inglés. Si tú, como muchos otros, estás por tramitar la naturalización este 2024, te compartimos la lista de las 100 preguntas del examen con las respuestas que debes estudiar y aprenderte de memoria.

El día de tu cita, un oficial del Servicio de Ciudadanía e Inmigración de los Estados Unidos (USCIS) te hará tan solo 10 preguntas del siguiente listado que incluye 100. Debido a que son seleccionadas al azar, deberás aprender todas. Únicamente se exige responder correctamente 6 de las 10. Toma en cuenta que cada pregunta podría tener distintas respuestas, pero solo debes dar la cantidad que te soliciten, es decir, si te dicen “nombra dos presidentes”, solo debes decir dos y no todos los nombres que sepas.

No olvides que todo el examen será en inglés de forma oral. Te recomendamos practicar con otra persona, siempre procurando decir las respuestas de forma clara y con buena pronunciación, ya que también evaluarán tu capacidad de comunicación en el idioma nativo.
